That Gut Feeling

Today in class my professor talked about why we make certain decisions. One point of reason was intuition/ a gut feeling; he referred to it as luck. I refer to this “luck” is The Holy  Spirit working in your conscience.

Luke 12:12- for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say (New International Version.)

Romans 8:14- For all who are led by The Spirit of God, are children of God (New Living Translation.)

I started eating some of those delicious orange slice candies which gave me a horrible feeling. My body has been rejecting a lot of things I need to cut down on (I might be able to handle all of these junk foods if I exercised sometime in the past few weeks, but right now the bad is entering with no way out/ an equal amount of “good” foods.)

My body was like stop eating this candy before you get a bad stomachache. This can be compared to God telling us what we should and should not do. There will ALWAYS be a sign and a way out.

1 Corinthians 10:13- No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it (New King James Version.)

If you don’t take advantage of this initial way out, God will provide another one and another one. You may not see the results of your bad decision immediately, but they will come. Sometimes we only find our way out through a difficult result.

To end, trust your gut (The Holy Spirit.) You will be led in the right direction and find a way out of any situation
